Anastasia (Tassie) Mamalakis Kontos. He received his AB Degree from the University of Georgia in 1965, and his MDiv Degree from The General Theological Seminary, New York City, in 1968. Father Kontos was ordained to the diaconate by the Rt. Rev. Albert R. Stuart in Georgia in 1968, and ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Stuart in Albany, Georgia on March 25, 1969. He was married to Theresa W. Wilkerson on August 15, 1970; their three children are Elizabeth & Hilton Hightower (c. Sophia Katherine & Ava Theresa), Anastasia D. (Tassie) Kontos, and, James G. (Jimmy) Kontos.
