Cliche

A cliche by any other name is a piece of shit.

Cliches don't grow on trees you know. When you "r" writing poems you must give 110%. If you want to write a poem that will change the way we think about poems, you need to think outside the box. Poems about people and things put on the internets by robots are a dime a dozen.

What would really be a good poem, as I've said, is one where you tell about how you were all in love but then you got the shaft and now you're all melancholy, and in it you have an AABB sort of rhyming deal and you use a lot of cliches. And you have to rhyme "night" with "right."

But then because you're this evil robot at the end there's whole stream of vulgar language and apocalyptic imagery about exploding cars and stuff. But it keeps going with the rhymes of course. Cuz you're like a wolf in sheep's clothing.

First off, I would eat a wolf in sheep's clothing. That sounds delicious.

Second, let me just say, that I don't want to write a really good poem. I've never written a "good" poem in my life. In reality, there's no such thing as a "good" poem, but that's an argument for another day.

Third, I live outside the box. Literally. Last week, on the run from XGRLX raider, I had to leave my underground compound. On the streets of Lima, Peru, I gave my box to this bum who reeked of urine, since I don't really need it anyway since all my innards are made of a synthetic alien alloy.

Fourth, I can't help it that robots are beginning to take over the Internet. That's actually kind of a redundancy, I think. Anyway, just because I'm part-robot, and I find the Internet a completely useful way to denigrate, irritate, and obfuscate you masses of pathetic disease-breeders, does that mean I'm part of the problem? By the way, in case you haven't checked your math, anything that's a dime for a dozen is a friggin' awesome deal.

Fifth, I can't write poems in AABB or any other types of "traditional" poetry rhyme schemes. Mainly because I have dignity. Yes, despite my tendencies toward suicidal rage, I still have enough dignity not to write poems that rhyme.
